How to Delete Your Data

Good news: All your dream data is stored locally on your device, not on external servers. You have complete control over your data.

To delete all your data from NightMind, follow these steps:

  1. Open the NightMind app on your device
  2. Tap the Settings icon (gear icon)
  3. Scroll down to find "Delete All Data"
  4. Tap "Delete All Data"
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your dream entries, settings, and generated videos will be permanently deleted from your device.

What Gets Deleted

  • All dream journal entries
  • All generated videos and thumbnails
  • All AI dream analyses
  • App settings and preferences
  • Local encryption keys

Data on External Services

NightMind uses minimal external services:

  • Device ID: An anonymous identifier used for rate limiting. This is not linked to any personal information and cannot be used to identify you.
  • RevenueCat: If you made purchases, RevenueCat maintains purchase records as required by Apple/Google. Contact RevenueCat directly for purchase-related data requests.

Alternative: Uninstall the App

Uninstalling NightMind from your device will also remove all locally stored data, including your dream entries and generated content.
